WELCOME TO DENVER'S FIRST QUEER COMEDY & ARTS FESTIVAL
AT TOWN HALL COLLABORATIVE

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Two hysterically jam-packed evenings full of live events, inside and outside of Town Hall with 3 stand-up comedy showcases, starring local and national LGBTQIA Comedians, an incredible burlesque performance, a comedy game show, and a special kink-themed show each night! Finishing off both nights with the 'Netflix Is a Joke' star, Mav Viola.

Our mission is to celebrate and support live comedy and local art with our LGBTQIA community here in Denver, Colorado! We hope this festival brings you laughter and memories that last a lifetime!

THE KNOTTY SHOW (7:30-8:30PM) (INSIDE STAGE)

The Knotty show is part stand-up comedy show, part rope demonstration. Colorado's goofiest comedians perform their craft alongside a couple of kinksters doing a suspension. Sometimes the comics roll with it and sometimes the comics get all blushy & bashful. Either way, hilarity ensues!

MEET THE PERFORMERS!

Mav Viola

As a comedian, Mav has headlined a sold out show for Netflix is a Joke Festival in 2024 as well as recorded a set for Netflix is a Joke Radio show “Are You Still Listening” on SiriusXM. Mav can also be seen on Season 14 of Comedy Central Featuring. She regularly headlines around the country and has featured for comics like Whitney Cummings and Margaret Cho. Mav’s standup is personal, reflective, and magnetic. Mav is able to connect with any audience by way of her approachable authenticity and light.

Terrence Dobbs

Terrence is a Denver-based comedian and entertainer whose personality stands much taller than his 5’2” height. Originally from Kansas, he joined Denver’s stand-up comedy community in 2021. Terrence’s credits include Comedy Works’ New Faces Contest 2023 and the 2023 Colorado Queer Comedy Festival.

Ren Q

Ren Q. Dawe (he/they) is a trans comedian and genderqueer prankster. Lauded as a highly unsuccessful author, Ren is the organizer of the Colorado Queer Comedy Festival, and has been seen in festivals and comedy clubs from New York to Portland to Alaska. Their jokes have been featured on 9News, NYCTourism, and NPR. You can catch them on their first national tour, the Pretty Witty Gay Comedy Show, throughout 2024!

Mary Huth

Mary Huth is an Asian, lesbian empty-nester, born in Japan and raised in Southern California. Mary misguidedly stepped away from a career in publishing with the Wall Street Journal to raise twin boys. She delivers perspectives on favorite topics including politics, parenting, relationships, lgbt issues, diversity and pop culture. She has performed at comedy venues throughout Southern California including the Hollywood Improv and the Comedy Store. She produces Whippet Comedy in Hancock Park. IG @crankymom TikTok @crankymother

Aurora Mandragora

Tae Madden

Tae Madden, a comedic sensation whose journey began in 2019, has swiftly risen to captivate audiences nationwide with his razor-sharp wit and infectious stage presence. Tae's blend of kindness and humor leaves crowds gasping for air. When not on stage, Tae enjoys going to baseball games to watch authentic straight men eat hotdogs. Whether it's at comedy clubs or festivals, Tae delivers an unforgettable experience that's both hilarious and heartwarming. Join him for a night of laughter and joy that's sure to leave you wanting more!

Graham Cooper

Graham Cooper is a comedian in New York City and has performed all over the country. He is a regular at the Grisly Pear Comedy Club, Comedy Shop, and other venues in the city.

Haley Fishe

Haley Fisher is an up and coming comedian with an unconventional look on life. Born and raised in Bible Belt Gerogia, to living in Denver where she explores everything that was taught to be taboo, with a quirky attitude. You can hear of these backwards journies when she performs and host at the various comedy clubs in Colorado

Hi my name is Roxey! I’m the child of a Jamaican-Belezian immigrant. I was born in NY raised in FL and have been in Denver 8 years. I’m currently working as an Licensed Investment Advisor and Broker Dealer. Comedy is my NEEDED get away from the rush of the office. You can catch me all performing all of over Colorado. Including Comedy Works, The Comedy Fort, Dairy Arts Center, Rise Comedy and several others!

Cara Leoni

Cara Leoni (she/her) is an educator, a comedian and an OG queer. A self described rascal, you can find her performing at local bars and comedy clubs or knee deep in a project she’ll never finish.

Britt Boyd

Britt Boyd is a staple of the local comedy scene in Fort Collins, Colorado. As a self-proclaimed "queer hillbilly," Britt's upbringing lends a unique perspective to their time spent on stage. In addition to hosting shows along the Front Range, Britt has performed at several festivals across the country such as Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, Texas and Cloudtop Comedy Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Maddy Lanning

Maddy Lanning is a comedian based in Chicago, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. They have performed at numerous comedy festivals, including The Burbank Comedy Festival (2023) where they were named one of the Best of the Fest. Other credits include The Laugh Factory, Lincoln Lodge, The Second City, Flappers. Their comedy has been described by the Catholic Church as “ouch but true”.

Maeve Connor

Maeve Connor (she/her) is an up and coming comic based in Portland, Oregon. Like any good Portland queer, she loves telling jokes about lesbian sex, her cat and whole grains. When she’s not performing you’ll find her binge watching Love is Blind.

Lee Robinson

Lee Robinson is a Denver based stand-up comedian, writer, and former middle school chess champion (brag). They’ve been featured on OutTV and co-host an ever-sold out, nationally touring queer comedy variety show and podcast called Dyketopia. Lee has also been featured on Limestone Comedy Festival and High Plains Comedy Festival among others, and hosts packed out standup shows around Denver.

Cody

Cody Webb is a triple threat: he can tell jokes, he is super high energy, and he is moderately successful on TikTok. Coming all the way from Portland, Oregon, Cody is a comedian that is completely unpredictable. On stage, at least. If he's off-stage, he's probably on his phone by himself or something. Anyways! If you like jokes that are equal parts smart and very, very stupid, Cody is your man*. You can follow him on all platforms @TheRealCodyWebb and in real life if you know where to look

Stephen Mollman

Originally from Reno, Nevada, Stephen Mollman started doing comedy in November of 2019 and you can find them performing stand-up at bars, coffee shops, and comedy clubs all across the West Coast. From absurd beliefs to awkward encounters, nothing is off-limits in their comedy. You can find Stephen performing on "Don't Tell" comedy shows and headlining in multiple places around Nevada and Oregon. With a keen eye for the absurdities of human behavior and a knack for finding humor in the darkest of situations, Things are going to get dirty and weird and Stephen will guarantee that you’ll be laughing until it hurts.

Dr. Zackarina Jenny-hoe

Dr. Zackarina Jenny-hoe (not a doctor) is a Denver, CO based drag queen sitting right at the intersection of campy, Gen Z fun and public health activism. As a part time (fake) doctor, part time comedian and part time drag queen, she entertains and she’ll cure whatever’s troubling you!

Christopher Fakier

Christopher Fakier was born and raised in the bayous of Louisiana then moved to the concrete jungle of New York City to pursue his dreams of performing and furthered his education at New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. While attending school Christopher took standup as an elective and fell in love with it, during the day he would attend school and at night he’d perform at various open mics and shows around Manhattan, since then he has gone on to perform in various festivals around the Country and Canada and has performed with some of the big names in comedy such as Joe List, Tumua, DC Erving, and many more.

Jonah Nigh

NYC-based and Minnesota-bred performer Jonah Nigh has appeared in a variety of roles for NBC (Baking It, produced by Amy Poehler and hosted by Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg), Peacock, ABC, WNYC, NYC Pride March, France TV, Tripadvisor, the Museum of the City of New York, among other venues. He has performed live in New York City, Washington D.C., Aspen, San Francisco, Boston, Milwaukee, Iowa, Minnesota, and on TV and film. He was recently a semi-finalist in Laughing Buddha’s Comedy Festival in NYC and named on their "Hot 100" list (2024). He will be making festival debuts in Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Ontario, Maine, Denver, and Iowa City in 2024.
